A holiday base now, a home later
How WA buyers are using Hidden Valley lots in stages, from camping weekends to a permanent home.
One of the biggest advantages of Hidden Valley is that there’s no time limit to build. For WA buyers, that opens up a staged approach.
Stage 1: Secure the land
Pay a $10,000 deposit and settle in mid-2027.
Stage 2: Start enjoying it
Every lot comes fenced, with a gate, 3-phase power, town water and NBN available. Check with the Shire of Irwin about what’s allowed before a home is built, such as camping or caravans.
Stage 3: Build the shed
Many owners build a shed first for storage, tools and the boat. Plans need to meet WA building regulations and get Shire approval.
Stage 4: Build the home
When you’re ready, build the home you want. There are no covenants on size, style or materials.
Check with the Shire Rules about camping, caravans and temporary accommodation on rural residential land are set by the Shire of Irwin. Ask them before you plan your stay.
