What is a building envelope?
Every Hidden Valley lot has a building envelope of up to 4,000m². Here's what that means.
On rural residential land, buildings usually need to go within a defined area called the building envelope.
The basics
A building envelope is the part of the lot where the house, sheds and other buildings are located. The rest of the lot stays as open land.
At Hidden Valley
Each lot has a building envelope of up to 4,000m². That’s a large area, with room for a substantial home, sheds, a pool and outdoor living.
Clearing included
Every lot comes with $10,000 towards clearing your building envelope, so you’re ready to build.
Why envelopes exist
They help with bushfire management, protect native vegetation and keep spacing between homes.
Check the plan Ask Terry for the details of the envelope on your shortlisted lots before you design.
What comes with every lot
